1. At a concentration of 1% to 3% by volume, Emulsion 530A will protect ferrous parts from red rust for 2 to 3 weeks.

2. At 3% to 5% by volume the corrosion protection increases to 3 to 4 weeks.

3. At a concentration of 5% to 25% by volume, the corrosion protection increases to 1 to 2 months.

6. Specially formulated corrosion inhibitors provide excellent protection to metal surfaces and sharp edges.

There are two methods for testing the strength of an Emulsion 530A solution;
Method A: <10% v/v ‐ Refractometer
Method B: >10% v/v Emulsion 530A
