Locations recommended are anywhere before the prefilter and the antiscalant pump allowing for maximum contact time in order to protect the membrane from Cl. EZ TREAT SODIUM METABISULPHITE 33% should be added continuously on a proportionate basis, at rates of 5.4-9 ppm Na2S2O5 to 1ppm of Cl in order to protect the RO/UF membrane from Cl ion. We recommend an initial feed of 5.4ppm with small incremental increases if required.
